Mr. Pilla has been involved with several start-up and mid-market sized companies. Mr. Pilla began washing cars at the age of 16 at a local car dealership and rose to be an owner in one of the largest auto dealership groups in the State of Ohio. Mr. Pilla has experience in all aspects of the automotive industry, including, but not limited to, sales, human resources, consumer finance, leasing, real estate, customer relations, maintenance, and service, warranty matters and marketing. By 1998, Mr. Pillas car dealerships attained gross annual sales in excess of $100 million. These dealerships had nearly 200 employees. In 1999, Mr. Pilla, as co-owner of several car dealerships, sold his interests to Roger Penske and the United Auto Group. In 1999, Mr. Pilla was engaged by the United Auto Group to assist in acquisition of several additional car dealerships. Mr. Pilla assisted United Auto Group in achieving gross annual sales of over $400 million with more than 500 employees. Mr. Pilla has experience in managing and investing in commercial real estate and large multi-family complexes. Mr. Pilla is the owner of a significant electronic car wash company and a consultant in the home building industry. Member of Highland Heights, Ohio City Council and a member of the planning and zoning committee Sits on several charity boards and donates his time Mr. Pilla is the managing partner of SPA.GIENE, LLC a producer of cleaning products.
